Peter shows that expressive lettering is an art form, and has been one of the primary visual instrumentsof personal and cultural identity. His murals and paintings combine tribal arts, sacred imagery and hidden symbols and abstractions; they all challenge our preconceived notions of human communication. In his work, the line between literal meaning and the abstract form merge together. The opening will feature a live demonstration by Peter.

“letter&line” is in conjunction with the release of The Insider's Guide to Downtown LA,
2018 Edition, for which Peter Greco has done the cover design, select illustrations and
a mural at One Santa Fe. 

For the duration of the month-long exhibition, there will be one event each week,
including an artist talk, a workshop and an afternoon gallery tea.
